A benefit. A purchase. A person.
Company registers, published policies, product documentation and articles can help explain a system. Each source answers a different question: a register records filed company information; product documentation describes available functionality; an article presents its publisher’s explanation.
These sources are not private correspondence or disclosures. We link to the originals, avoid reproducing personal names, and distinguish the source’s contents from our interpretation. External websites remain under their publishers’ control and may contain names or other information not reproduced here.

Read the Companies House example →On 14 December 2022, the ASA upheld a complaint about Taste Marketing Ltd’s “Up to 40% off” cinema-ticket claim. The published ruling includes the advertiser’s response and the ASA’s assessment.
The educational question is how a saving is calculated: compared with which ticket, venue, time and usual price? This ruling concerns that advertisement.

A current company name, a change of control and the date a document was filed can describe different parts of the same history. Compare the legal entity, event date and record date before connecting events.
| Event or reference date | What the public source records | Record date and source |
|---|---|---|
| 31 December 2024 | Mission's results identify the disposal of April Six. This is a subsidiary disposal, rather than a sale of Mission itself. | 24 March 2026: Mission's later results restate this disposal date. Company RNS announcement held by the FCA. |
| 31 December 2025 | Ello Group Holdings Ltd (09685437) has significant-control entries and share-capital events effective on this date. | Control notifications filed on 27 January 2026; share consolidation filed on 9 February 2026. Companies House filing history. |
| 1 May 2026 — article update date | The purchaser's legal adviser describes acting for Dragonpass Group on its acquisition of Ello Group Holdings Ltd. The article describes completion over the festive period; its displayed update date is not the completion date. | Acquisition adviser's published account. |
What this comparison establishes: identifiable public events and the different dates attached to them.
Ask: What changed—name, ownership, assets or control? Which legal company was involved? When did the event take effect, and when was it recorded publicly? An accounts year-end is not automatically a transaction date.
Read this alongside the same-company-number and name-history examples. A current name displayed beside a historical date should be checked against the name in force at that time; the display alone does not establish deliberate backdating.

Public register links retained from our earlier research. This is a reading directory, not a chronology of alleged wrongdoing. Individual filing documents need to be read in full before drawing conclusions; inclusion does not independently verify the accuracy of the filing.
Future additions will identify the question, the source and its date, the mechanism or observation, the conditions required and the limits of the conclusion. We will record substantive changes rather than silently presenting later research as an earlier publication.
Private emails, letters, disclosures, transaction schedules and court or complaint documents are maintained separately. They are not embedded here or released through a PIN.
